Actuator Rebuilding

Riggio technicians understand the critical relationship between a valve and its MOV actuator. When valve service is necessary, the motorized actuators are often assumed to be fully capable simply because they appear to function. Motor actuators are matched to each valve and are incredibly powerful. Valve problems can damage an actuator and conversely, actuators can damage valves.

Riggio’s complete turnkey services provide removal, engineering review and mechanical/electrical assessment. Each actuator is completely disassembled; all bearings, seals, and grease are replaced, and any other worn parts are also replaced thus restoring the actuator to essentially like-new condition. After shop testing, re-installation procedures include limit and torque switch settings. Additionally, start-up assistance testing is provided to assure dependable operation.
